1 About us

Balloons.co.za is based in Boksburg, East Rand, Gauteng, and delivers across South Africa. For orders, WhatsApp us at 074 706 6327. For help and support, email help@balloons.co.za. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

2 Orders

• You can place orders on this website. You'll receive an order confirmation by email.
• All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. If we can't fulfil an order, we may cancel it and refund you in full for anything not supplied.
• Please check your order, delivery address and phone number carefully before paying.

3 Prices & payment

• All prices are in South African rand (ZAR).
• Prices may change without notice, but the price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you place your order.
• Pack prices (buy more, pay less) are applied automatically in your cart, based on the total number of balloons of the same product.
• If a product is shown at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we'll contact you before processing the order, and you may cancel for a full refund.
• Orders are processed once payment has been received.

4 Stock availability & substitutions

Occasionally a specific colour or size may be temporarily out of stock. If this happens, we'll substitute it with the closest available alternative of the same or higher value (for example, a similar shade, or a larger size in the same colour) at no extra cost to you.

Where a substitution would noticeably change your order, we'll contact you first by WhatsApp or email. If you prefer not to accept the substitution, you may choose to wait for stock, swap for another item, or receive a refund for that item.

5 Delivery

• Nationwide: usually 1–5 working days, depending on your area. Orders are dispatched from Johannesburg.
• Same-day (East Rand): for orders placed and paid before 10:00, every day except Sundays, subject to stock.
• Delivery fee: R200 flat rate anywhere in South Africa, shown at checkout.
• Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays. We're not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays or other circumstances beyond our control. For events, please order in good time.
• Please make sure your address and phone number are correct and that someone is available to receive the parcel. Redelivery or return costs caused by incorrect details or no one being available may be charged.
• Please check your order on delivery and report any damage or missing items within 48 hours, with photos.

6 Branded (custom printed) balloons

• Printing takes 1–3 business days after payment is received, followed by delivery as normal.
• By sending us a logo, text or artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
• The online preview is a guide. Print colours, size and position can vary slightly on latex, and ink colours are matched as closely as possible.
• Because branded balloons are made to your order, they can't be returned or refunded for a change of mind. If there's a fault or a mistake on our side, we'll reprint or refund.

7 Helium kits & cylinders

• Use helium products only as directed, in a ventilated area, with adult supervision. Never inhale helium: it can cause serious injury or death.
• The amount of balloons a kit or cylinder fills is an estimate and depends on balloon size and how full they're inflated.
• Professional helium cylinders remain the property of Balloons.co.za at all times and are supplied on a deposit-and-return basis (R1,800 refundable deposit). If a cylinder is lost, stolen or damaged, you're liable for R4,000 in total, less your deposit. Refills are R8,500 when you exchange your empty cylinder. Cylinder hire is also subject to our signed cylinder client agreement.

8 Balloon safety

• Choking hazard: children under 8 can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision is required; keep uninflated balloons away from children and discard broken balloons at once.
• Our balloons are made of natural latex, which may cause allergic reactions.
• Please don't release balloons outdoors. Dispose of them responsibly.

9 Pre-orders

Some products may be offered on a pre-order basis. Estimated dates are guidelines only and may be affected by manufacturing, shipping and other factors beyond our control.

10 Returns & refunds

See our Returns & Refunds Policy. Faulty or damaged items are always covered: email help@balloons.co.za with photos and we'll sort it out.

11 Colours & images

On-screen colours are a close guide, but screens show colours differently and real latex can look slightly different. Some images are for illustration, and final packaging may vary slightly.

12 Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Balloons.co.za isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or services. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

We only use your details to process and deliver your order and to help you. See our Privacy Policy.

14 Changes & law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your order applies. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
