East Rand: same-day delivery for orders placed and paid before 10:00, every day except Sundays, subject to stock. If an item isn't in stock on the day, we'll let you know and deliver as soon as it is.

Nationwide: usually 1–5 working days, depending on your area. All orders are dispatched from Johannesburg. See Delivery Information for the full details.

A flat rate of R200 anywhere in South Africa. You'll see it at checkout before you pay.

Yes, collection in Boksburg is available by arrangement. Email help@balloons.co.za or mention it with your WhatsApp order, and we'll arrange a time.

Quality latex balloons in lots of sizes and finishes: 5" mini, 12" Standard, Metallic, Chrome and Macaron (pastel), 12" Link-O-Loons for garlands, 260Q modelling balloons, 50cm balloons and giant balloons up to 1.5m. You can mix colours freely.

On-screen colours are a close guide, but every screen shows colours a little differently, and real latex can look slightly different, especially once inflated.

It doesn't happen often, but now and then a colour or size is temporarily unavailable. We'll offer the closest match of the same or higher value, and contact you first if it noticeably changes your order. See our Terms & Conditions for the details.

• 12" balloons and bigger float with helium.
• 5" mini balloons are too small to float. Use them with air, for garlands and décor.
• 260Q modelling balloons are for air only, blown up with a pump.
• 50cm and giant balloons need a lot of helium. A helium cylinder is best, or fill them with air for décor.

You don't need to work it out: when you pick your balloons, we show you how much helium you need. As a guide, a disposable helium kit fills about 30 × 12" balloons, and a 50L cylinder about 650. Big balloons need much more: one 1.5m giant takes about as much as 155 normal balloons.

Design your balloon online: choose the balloon colour, upload your logo or type your text, and see a live preview with your price. You can also email us your artwork.

Printing takes 1–3 business days after payment is received. Then delivery: in the East Rand usually 1–2 days, or 1–5 working days nationwide, depending on your area. Branded balloons aren't available for same-day delivery.

Yes, branded balloons start from 100 balloons, and the price per balloon drops the more you order.

No. The cylinder remains the property of Balloons.co.za at all times. It's supplied on a deposit-and-return basis: you pay a refundable R1,800 deposit, which is returned once the empty cylinder comes back to us.

You'd be liable for R4,000 in total, with your R1,800 deposit deducted from that amount, leaving a balance of R2,200 payable. This is covered in our signed cylinder client agreement.

Bring your empty cylinder back and we'll swap it for a full one for R8,500. No new deposit is needed, since you're exchanging the same cylinder.
